1. How much is the entry fee and what do I get for my money?
Individuals- $200 Relay- $250. Custom technical event t-shirt;
imprinted swim caps; finish line towel; participant raffle and
custom event finisher's medal. Event timing, kayak support, SAG
support, great rest stops, police/ems support, finish line
refreshments, USAT official and a awesome volunteers!

3. When is packet pick up?
Packet pick up will take place at Britton's Bicycle Shop on March
26th from 4-7 and March 27th from noon-7. Britton's Bicycle Shop is
located at 16636 San Pedro Ave. San Antonio TX 78232 in the Park
Oaks Shopping Center at the corner of Thousand Oaks and 281N.
4. Are there maps available to the race site and of the course?

5. Can I pick up my packet on race day?
NO - race day packet pick up will NOT be available.
6. Can I register at packet pick up?
Yes, if space remains.
7. Can I wear a wetsuit?
The water temperature is typically below 78 degrees during this time
of year so it is likely you will be able to wear a wetsuit. Updates
will be available as the race date approaches.
8. Are there refunds/transfers/rollovers if I am unable to attend?
No refunds will be made except for medical reasons. Requests must
be made in writing no later than 7 days before the event and include
documentation by a doctor. Transfers are available for same race
only for a $20 transfer fee. Request and payment must be received
no later than 7 days before the event. No rollovers...no exceptions.
9. Do I have to be present in order to get my award?
No awards will be mailed but they will be available for pickup for 1
week post event at Britton's Bicycle Shop.
10. What is USAT and do I need to be a member?
USAT is our national governing body for triathlons and duathlons. A
one-day license is available for $10 which will allow you to
participate in a USAT sanctioned event. You also have the option of
purchasing a yearly membership for $39, which you should consider if
you plan to compete in future events.
11. Can my friend pick up my packet?
NO. You must personally pick up your packet and provide ID as well
as your USAT card. There are no exceptions.
12. Will the event be timed?
Yes, you will be given a timing chip on race morning. You must
return the chip at the end of the race or you will be charged $35.
13. I'm in a relay; how do the chips work for us?
The chip will be passed to each leg of the relay. You must have
your chip on to get a finish time.
14. Where do we wear the chip?
Velcro the strap around your left ankle.
15. How do I contact the race director?
