The Small Texan Tri is an Olympic distance race.
Swim 1500m in refreshing Boerne City Lake, bike 45k
that will provide you with the opportunity to test
your legs on typical hill country terrain and finish
up with a 10k over flat to rolling hills!
The Tiny Texan Tri is a sprint distance triathlon.
Perfect for beginner triathletes or speedy
veteran's! 800m swim in refreshing Boerne City Lake,
25k bike course over typical hill country roads with
rolling hills and then a 5k run to the finish.
"Texan" style awards to be given out after
the last athlete comes back. Meal is included after the race.
Additional meal tickets can be purchased for family for $3.
This
event will close at 300 athletes. *CUSTOM MEDAL FOR ALL FINISHERS* |

USAT
Sanctioned events. Swim 1500M or 800M in Boerne Lake, bike a 45Kor 25K loop course on
flat to rolling terrain and run a 10K or 5K out and back on dirt and asphalt.
There will be one water hand up on the bike course and support
every mile on the run course. Course maps are
posted on this website.

You
may pick up the race packet or register in person on Friday, July 23rd
from 4-7 or on Saturday, July 24th from 11-7 at Britton's Bicycle Shop
(16636 US Hwy 281N, San Antonio). Event t-shirts/race
instructions/numbers will be given out at that time. You must
personally pickup your own packet, show a photo ID, show your USAT
membership card or purchase a one day permit ($10.00) in order to
receive your race number & athlete race instructions. No refunds
and no transfers. ONLY annual USAT members are eligible to pay a $20.00
convenience fee in order to pick-up your packet on race day morning.
Athlete's brunch is included in registration fee. Meal bracelets will
be available at registration for $2.00 for those traveling with you. On
race day the price will be $3.00.
Again, Please Note: USAT
rules state that each participant must pick up their own packet and
show a photo ID. A current annual membership must be shown at this time
OR a 1-day permit must be purchased for $10.00 cash or check. |

There
are no refunds or rollovers for any reason. You
may transfer your registration if unable to attend,
but you must notify the race director in writing no
less than 7 days before the event. No transfers
will be accepted after that time. Transfers are for
the same race only. |

In
the event of foul weather, the start time of this
event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Should weather
conditions be unsafe for the swim, this event will
be changed to a duathlon. If the weather makes it
too dangerous for cycling, the event will become a
run only. No refunds for weather related
cancellation of event. |

Please note that all USAT rules will be in effect for this event. Drafting is not allowed. You
the rider, however, are ultimately responsible for your own safety - we
encourage you to know the course, ride safely and follow the rules -
not only of the event but of the road. Remember - this is an open
road event - obey all traffic laws. |

You
will be issued a "Championchip" and a velco strap. Your net time will
be recorded with the computer chip that is wrapped around your ankle
with a velco strap. Chip issue is the morning of the race at the
entrance to the transition area. You must wear the chip to be timed and
scored. The chips will be retrieved in the chutes just past the finish
line after the race. If you do not start the race or you drop out, we
ask you to return the chip to the tent located at the finish line.
Athletes will be charged $35 for chips not returned at the end of the
race. |
