HSG Carbon - Bred for speed, the HSG Carbon is the lightest, stiffest and most race-worthy Serotta ever. The HSG is built using Serotta's proprietary, US-made TC2 tubing; the Torsion Core™ technology enhances drive-train acceleration and provides excellent vibration damping and vertical compliance. For strength and durability, the bottom bracket and headset sleeves are reinforced with titanium, making the HSG Carbon the ultimate choice, and great value, for the competitive cyclist.  

High performance geometry and race-specific tuning are what create the difference between the HSG Carbon and new Fierte Carbon.  The HSG is for those who lead out town line sprints and prefer Velo News to the local paper. The 2009 HSG Carbon features an oversized TC2 Colorado Concept downtube combined with a large profile head tube and bottom bracket lugs, maximizing front-end stiffness while minimizing weight. High modulus, S-bend chainstays provide optimal power transfer.

  • Tubing Platform:  TC2 - Multi-Modulus Colorado Concept Torsion Core™ Carbon Tubes.  The TC2 Torsion Core™ Colorado Concept carbon fiber tubeset is made with maximum stiffness specifically for our HSG Carbon race bike. Multiple modulus lay-ups offer greater strength and durability than tubes constructed using more common methods.
  • Stay:  Carbon fiber
  • Fork:  S3 Serotta Composites Carbon Fork
  • Finish:  Natural Carbon with white/red HSG decal package, Simply White with black/red HSG decal package.
  • Average Weight:  13 to 17 lbs. Complete bike weight range depends on size of bike, component options and finish choices.
