Olympic years are
always exceptional years just like the new range that you will
discover browsing through this resolutely technical catalogue. A
2008 / 2009 season that starts very well: 2 course section
victories with the Crédit Agricole team in the Tour de France,
several victories with our pedals, award of the of the Best Road
Bike Prize of the Year at the start of Bourg-d’Oisans attended
by Christian Prud’Homme, Laurent Jalabert and Roger Legeay, a
very strong influence in Beijing with teams from France, China,
Russia, Canada, the USA with Jenny Reed.
Let us remind you
once again that China although it produces over 95% of the
carbon frames sold in the world, chose the technology and
knowhow of LOOK for its athletes. LOOK is an enterprise of
exception through its men, its values and its technological
choices. From the Olympics we share the team spirit, the
passion, the progress, the performance, the love of sport and of
fraternity. With you, we share the passion of perfection and of
the bike.
History of Innovation --
Clipping in to the pedals is the sound that kicks off every ride. LOOK
created the very first modern clipless pedals in 1984, and cycling hasn’t
been the same since. Clipless pedals didn’t just revolutionize shoe and
pedal technology, they were the start of a complete technical renaissance.
Clipless pedals sparked the move away from cycling shoes with
wood-and-leather soles toward advanced plastics and carbon composites,
materials which have since been applied to almost every aspect of bicycle
design, especially frames and forks.
