At 990 grams, it remains one of the most well
balanced frames in its category, straddling the
ideal blend of stiffness with all day
comfort and compliance. It’s versatility makes it
ideal for both attacking the Arenberg Forest over
the storied cobbles, as well as riding
tempo at the famous Markleeville Death Ride.
The 585 was also among our very first frames to be
offered with two different lateral stiffness
options: Origin (polyvalent), and Ultra
(plus 15%). It’s also available in both standard and
Optimum geometries, extending the ultimate
versatility of the frame from the Maillot
Vert competition to the Waves to Wine Century in
