SSPS - With the new Stable Stiffness Per Size (SSPS) system FOCUS engineers have come up with an absolute stroke of genius. Until now all frame sizes featured the same tube dimensions across all sizes, but with SSPS tube dimensions are tailored specifically for the size of the bike. This means that no matter how tall the rider is, whether 5’2” or 6’4”, a Focus frame has a ride quality with consistent rigidity, compliance and handling in any size.

  • Elbowed Comfort Rearstays - A symbiosis between ride comfort and stiffness. The trapezoid form of the chain stays combined with flattened, lenticular-shaped seat stays improve seating comfort.

  • Conical Headtube 1 1/8˝, top to 1 1/4˝ bottom diameter - The conically shaped fork shaft and the specially constructed fork minimize eight and increase head tube stiffness

  • 3 T Funda Pro: Exclusive for FOCUS - Increased ride comfort: higher side lateral stiffness with the best aerodynamics offer more steering precision as well as control.

  • Reinforcing Integrated Cable Tunnel - Stiff, clean and protected: the cables can be replaced easily, and fewer bends reduce friction and enable more direct shifting and braking.

  • BB30 Oversized Bottombracket -  The oversized hollow chamber bottom bracket (BB30) provides the significantly larger chain stays optimal connection to the seat tube and top tube.
